Overview
By default, only users with the NetSuite Administrator role can manage ExtendSync for Google NetSuite licenses using the Celigo License Manager.
This article explains how a NetSuite Admin can grant license management access to another NetSuite role by updating role permissions and script deployment audiences.
When You Need This
Use this guide if:
A non-admin user needs to assign or revoke ExtendSync Google licenses
License management should be handled by IT, operations, or application admins
You want to delegate licensing responsibilities without granting full Admin access
Prerequisites
You must be logged in as a NetSuite Administrator
The target role must already exist in NetSuite
How to Delegate Permissions For License Management
Step 1: Grant Custom Record Permissions
Go to Setup → Users/Roles → Manage Roles.
Edit the role you want to grant license management access to.
Open Permissions → Setup.
Set Custom Records to Full.
Save the role.
Step 2: Update Script Deployment Audiences
You must update the audience for each of the following script deployments:
Celigo Google Authentication
Celigo Google Installer UI
Celigo Google Wizard Contact
Celigo License Manager
Celigo License Manager – Create License
For each deployment:
Go to Customization → Scripting → Script Deployments.
Search for the deployment by name.
Click Edit.
In the Audience section:
Add the role you are granting access to.
Confirm Execute As is set to Administrator.
Save the deployment.
Repeat these steps until all listed deployments are updated.
✅ Verification
After completing the steps:
Users assigned to the updated role can access the Celigo License Manager
They can allocate and revoke ExtendSync for Google NetSuite licenses
No NetSuite Administrator role is required for license management
If access is not visible immediately, have the user log out and back in to NetSuite.
