Troubleshooting: Add-in still broken for everyone after redeploying

ExtendInsights Apps | Troubleshoot add-ins that remain unavailable after redeployment

This article is for IT administrators.

If the add-in is still missing or failing after redeployment, the issue may be related to Microsoft 365 tenant configuration or an active Microsoft service incident.


Check Microsoft Service Health

  1. Go to Health → Service Health.

  2. Check for advisories or incidents affecting:

    • Microsoft 365 Apps

    • Excel

    • Office Add-ins

    • Integrated apps

    • Microsoft AppSource

If Microsoft has an active incident, wait for the service to be restored before troubleshooting further.


Check Exchange Online Access

Some organization-managed Office add-ins require Exchange Online connectivity to function correctly.

Ask your Microsoft 365 Administrator to verify that required Exchange Online access and related settings are enabled for affected users.

Verification

The issue is resolved when the ExtendInsights add-in loads successfully for affected users after Microsoft services are healthy and required access is available.
