Overview

ExtendInsights lets you download HubSpot analytics data directly into Excel for reporting and analysis.

You can retrieve analytics for supported HubSpot objects, including Marketing Analytics and Form Analytics, and filter results using predefined or custom date ranges.

Note: Analytics objects are read-only. They support Download only.


Before You Begin

Before downloading analytics data, make sure you have:

  • An active HubSpot connection.

  • Access to the HubSpot Analytics feature.

  • A template created for the analytics object you want to use.


Step 1: Select an Analytics Object

  1. From the list of data sources, select HubSpot.

  2. Expand Analytics.

  3. Select the analytics object you want to download.

Examples include:

  • Marketing Analytics

  • Form Analytics

Step 2: Select a Split

Some analytics objects provide different reporting views, known as splits.

Select the split you want to retrieve.

Note: Available splits vary depending on the analytics object.

Step 3: Select Your Fields

Choose the fields you want to include in your report.

  • Use the search box to quickly locate fields.

  • Select one or more fields.

  • Click Apply.

Step 4: Filter by Date

All HubSpot analytics objects support date-based filtering.

You can choose from:

Quick Filters

Examples include:

  • Yesterday

  • This Week

  • Last 7 Days

  • Last 30 Days

Custom Date Range

Specify a From and To date using the calendar picker.

Step 5: Download the Analytics Data

Click Download to retrieve the analytics data into Excel.

The selected report is downloaded using the filters and date range you configured.

Note: Upload, Refresh, and Delete are not available for analytics objects because HubSpot treats analytics as read-only data.

Quick filters provide an easy way to retrieve frequently used reporting periods without manually selecting dates.

Use custom date ranges for historical analysis

When analyzing specific campaigns or reporting periods, use a custom date range for greater flexibility.

Choose only the fields you need

Selecting only the necessary fields can improve download performance and simplify your reports.
