Welcome to ExtendSync for Outlook NetSuite! We're glad to have you onboard! π
Use this guide to complete the first-time setup for your organization. Youβll connect ExtendSync to Microsoft 365 and NetSuite, manage licenses, and enable optional productivity features.
Who is required for the initial setup?
Doing the steps below we need three individuals from your organization. For some companies, this may be the same person. The users do not need to be present at the same time but they will each be required to perform an action.
The admin assigned to login to subscriptions.cloudextend.io
A user with GLOBAL ADMIN rights to your Microsoft 365 environment
A user with NetSuite admin rights
Before You Begin
You have an active or trial subscription for Starter or Enterprise Edition.
The free version of ExtendSync was discontinued on August 6, 2024.
You know which features your organization is licensed for (see categories below).
Review Outlook Add-In Requirements
ExtendSync works with the following supported Outlook clients:
Outlook with a Microsoft 365 subscription (desktop version)
Outlook for iOS
Outlook for Android
Outlook.com (web)
Exchange Online
βοΈ Connection requirements:
The Outlook client must be connected directly to Microsoft 365 or Exchange Online.
When setting up Outlook, users must select an account type of Exchange, Office 365, or Outlook.com.
If the client is configured with POP3 or IMAP, add-ins will not load and ExtendSync will not function.
π‘ Tip: For best performance, we recommend using Outlook with a Microsoft 365 subscription connected to Exchange Online.
