Updates to the ExtendSync for Google NetSuite Chrome extension are distributed by Google Chrome, not directly by CloudExtend.
In most cases, Chrome automatically updates extensions within up to 24 hours. This delay is expected and depends on Google’s rollout process.
If you need the latest version immediately, you can manually force an update using the steps below.
🚨 When You Should Force an Update
Use this process if:
You were instructed by Support to update immediately
A new feature or fix was recently released
Your extension version does not match the current release
Chrome has not yet auto-updated the extension
How to Force an Update (End Users)
Step 1: Open the Chrome Extensions Page
Open Google Chrome.
In the address bar, enter:
chrome://extensionsPress Enter.
Step 2: Enable Developer Mode
In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle Developer mode to On.
Step 3: Update the ExtendSync Extension
Locate the CloudExtend / ExtendSync for Google extension.
Click Details.
Click the Update button.
Chrome will immediately check for and install the latest available version.
