OLNS | Install instructions CloudExtend Outlook for NetSuite from AppSource

Updated yesterday

In some cases, your Microsoft 365 Admin may have a policy of authorizing and installing Apps on behalf of the end-user via this process. If in doubt ask your Admin, otherwise follow the instructions below to install directly from the Microsoft Store.

Watch this video or follow the steps below to learn how to install CloudExtend Outlook

Optional NetSuite Performance Bundle

We highly encourage you to ask your NetSuite Admin to install the CloudExtend Performance Bundle in your NetSuite account. Share this link with them. Having this bundle installed improves performance by up to 3x and enables additional Enterprise features during the trial period. If you're not sure if it's installed or not don't worry, we'll send you an in-app message letting you know it's not installed.

Logging In

For login prerequisites and troubleshooting see this article.

Basic Credentials

View the video to log in to the process in action! Start at 0:38.

Step 1: For first-time login select Login to New App.

You will be prompted to login with your Microsoft.

With the new version, your login identity is now tied to Microsoft rather than your NetSuite account. This means that you no longer have to sign out and sign in again when you need to switch to a different NetSuite role or company. The NetSuite connection is established once you log in and can be switched easily without having to sign out by selecting the menu and Connections.

πŸ’‘ Note:

Once you login with your Microsoft account, you won't be asked to login again unless you clear cache or you are trying to load the app in a different browser. Please make sure you login with same ID in all environments as your license is only tied to one ID, not both.

Step 2: Enter your NetSuite Account ID.

NetSuite Account Number
In order to use the login flow, you will need your NetSuite Account Number. This can be located in the URL while you are logged into NetSuite in a browser. Learn how to find your NetSuite account ID here.

Step 3: Enter your NetSuite credentials. Select the role you want to log in with and hit Allow.

πŸ’‘ Note: You will also be required to enter your NetSuite username and password. If you received an error here, it generally means your account does not have proper permissions. Ask your Admin to review the prerequisites here in our help center.

Each connection type will have a different color scheme when you are logged in.

Mac

Clear your cache Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer.

Clear the cache on Safari (this is independent of your default browser, ie even if your default browser is Chrome above must be completed).

Step 4: Click on the troubleshoot link and enter the URL of your Identity provider's NetSuite login. See the instructions for obtaining the URL.

Step 5: At this point, you have successfully reset the last authentication method and should be able to successfully log in via the ExtendSync App using your SSO role by clicking the Login to New App button.
