ExtendSync Outlook | The settings section enables you to customize the ExtendSync settings

The settings section will enable you to customize the ExtendSync settings as per your preference.


Settings Pane


Ignore sign-in user records

When this is enabled CloudExtend users will ignore logged-in NetSuite users' email while fetching contextual records. This setting is turned off by default.

Step 1: Click Menu> Settings

Step 2: Go to Ignore sign-in user records and toggle the button to turn it on.


Skip Welcome Screen

When this is turned on CloudExtend will initiate the record search in NetSuite automatically skipping the welcome screen. By default, this is turned off. Learn more here.


Subject Inspection

This setting, enabled by default, will search the mail subject for a 4-digit number and fetch matching transaction records automatically.


Include Dependent Records

When enabled this will fetch 25 records in each category like entities, transactions, or activities. Reducing the time taken to load the available records in the ExtendSync panel. Learn more here.


Configure Records Filter

User can configure the filter in the Settings view and once done, only the filtered records will be visible in the Suggested Records section.


File Attachment Preferences

Users have the ability to customize their settings for file attachments and inline images when storing emails to NetSuite. Learn more here.


Include names in suggestions

Once enabled, the Available Records section will show records with the match name of the sender even though the email wouldn't match. This is turned off by default. Learn more about this option here.


Include old app associations

For email was previously associated via One-Time, it will be tagged as This email is not associated with any Records initially. Click here to know more.


Autopilot Status

You can navigate to Settings view in the Left Menu and see the Event Autopilot status in Autopilot section. You will see what autopilot feature is enabled for you.


Attachments for Autopilot

Many of our users have been eagerly waiting for this to be available. Now, users can effortlessly set an entire thread or automate an email address — including attachments! 📎

Email Autopilot Associations

Choose Theme

Users can change the theme of the add-in based on their preferences. Three options to choose from:

  • Dark mode

  • Light mode

  • System - System setting would take the setting based on what your Outlook theme is set to. If your Outlook is configured to use Dark mode, then the add-in would detect that and switch to that theme automatically.


Layout View

Choose between Default and Compact view.

Two Ways to Enable Skip Welcome Screen

First Option - Settings

Step 1: Click Menu > Settings.

Step 2: Go to Skip welcome screen and toggle the button to turn it on.

Second Option - Welcome Screen

Step 1: Click the checkbox Always show suggest related records
